Glyndebourne

In harmony with Glyndebourne for 31 years.

Glyndebourne is a world-renowned opera house, with its annual summer Festival joining the likes of Ascot and Henley as integral to the traditional English season. A strong global reputation surrounds Glyndebourne, which stems from a passion for artistic excellence.

Our three restaurants, two bars, tea rooms and picnic facilities cater for 1,200 visitors nightly and serve three courses for up to 750 diners in just over an hour. With two stars from the Sustainable Restaurant Association and a focus on local suppliers that abound in the East Sussex countryside; Leith’s at Glyndebourne are as an intrinsic part of the quintessential English summer as the venue itself.

Sustainable Restaurant Association rating

In 2014, Glyndebourne, in association with Leith’s, was awarded Two Stars by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA), reflecting the venue’s on-going commitment to sustainability by highlighting the actions they are taking to ensure they host environmentally responsible events.

Glyndebourne Festival 2017 will open 20th May and close 27th August.

…the lobster and the lamb particularly worthy of a Michelin star, to say nothing of the most delicious panna cotta and the wonderful scones and cake! The girls serving were almost balletic with their choreography and timing; all so smiley, they were delightful.
